So a couple of weeks ago I went to see an amazing performance done by no other than the Citizens Band. Who as Paper Mag describes them "are the contemporary New York equivalent of a merry roving band of Victorian gypsy vaudevillians, if Victorian gypsy vaudevillians were political activists who fought against war and in favor of universal health care."
Not only were the costumes absolutely amazing, and the cast star studded with people such as Karen Elson, Sarah Sophie Flicker, and Zoey Deschanel but the performance was like nothing I have ever seen. The play was called "A Debt Rattle" which takes place during the 1920s and is a dance off between the characters for a place to stay for the night. Each actor took turns telling his or her story with their performance, there were even some acrobatics involved!
